Owners: Paul and Sarah Harkness
Paul and Sarah Harkness purchased their Beltone stores in May of 2021. Together they bring a combined 35+ years of industry experience in support of hearing healthcare professionals and their patients. Paul and Sarah chose to join the Beltone Network due to their deep trust in Beltone’s senior leadership team, support mechanisms and the strength of it’s long-standing national brand. The husband and wife duo are big believers in creating a team-oriented, others focused culture that their patients will confidently lean on for their better hearing needs. They presently operate in 12 cities across Minnesota and Nothern Iowa, and look forward to serving a growing number of communities for many years to come. Paul and Sarah both grew up in St. Paul, studied business at Metropolitan State and Michigan Tech, respectively, and currently reside in Minneapolis with their family.
Shane Lourey

Shane started as a HCP in Cambridge MN, where he discovered a passion for helping people hear their loved ones. Shane is committed to providing exceptional hearing care to the Burnsville/Bloomington community and loves helping people discover how the right hearing solutions can change their lives for the better. "As a hearing aid wearer I know how much hearing the little things in life means and look forward to helping others discover what they have been missing." In his spare time Shane is an active member of his church, his local Lions Club and is involved in helping coach and sponsor several youth sports teams.
Kurt Baumgartner

My name is Kurt Baumgartner I was born and raised in Austin, MN. I graduated from Austin High School with honors. I spent the first 20 years out of high school working in the automotive industry doing outside sales and management. I first was licensed in 2003 to fit hearing aids in Iowa. I covered northern Iowa until I got my Minnesota license in 2005. I was the first specialist in the Rochester location and I am now National Board Certification for Hearing Instrument Science.
I have been married for 37 years to Diane. We have 1 Daughter (Hannah). We also have 3 dogs. 2 long hair Dachshunds (Rosie & Charlie) and a Black Lab (Jessie). If I am not at work you can find me tinkering with things in the garage, golfing or out on a lake somewhere with Jessie and Hannah, my trusty sidekicks!
My parents are hearing impaired and wear Beltone Hearing Aids. So I have had first hand experience of how hearing loss affects the family. I have been in the Beltone family for over 20 years and I currently help the world hear better in the Austin, MN and Rochester, MN offices.
Tanya Gottlieb

I have been with Beltone for over eleven years. I truly enjoy helping my patients to hear better. I feel that I have found my passion in life. My goal is to better educate people so that they realize the ramifications of poor hearing and how Important hearing truly is as many are not aware of the consequences of hearing loss. I enjoy singing, reading, writing, Vikings football, shopping and travelling along with spending time with my husband and son and friends and family when I am not working. My favorite part of my job is that every day is an opportunity to impact someone’s life in a positive manner and impact their quality of life and I find that to be extremely fulfilling.
Bonnie Burnett

Bonnie Burnett has been a State Licensed, Hearing Instrument Specialist for over 8 years. Her passion to help people is evident with her interactions and the relationships she builds. During her Beltone career she has been chosen to field trial various innovations as well as chosen for the Advisory Board.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, traveling, camping and visiting family and friends. One of her favorite things to do is share stories with people around the campfire. And go for walks with her dog.
Shelly Olson

Michelle (Shelly) Olson was born and raised in Bemidji, MN. She and her husband, Brian, of 35 years enjoy spending time with their three children and three granddaughters.
She has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 37 years and has worked with a diverse group of individuals throughout our community. Most recently, with our veterans at the VA clinic serving those who have served. At her core, she is a caregiver. Her passion is to help bring the incredible gift of sound and communication back to people who have been missing that in their lives, including several in her own family.
Shelly strives to make personal connections with all of her patients. She will be beside you through your whole hearing health journey!
Moses Baumgartner
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Hibbing, Virginia and Grand Rapids
Moses Baumgartner became a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in 2015 and began his career with Beltone that year. Originally from the Twin Cities, Moses and his wife relocated to Duluth in 2018. Serving those with hearing loss, and helping to improve their quality of life, is what brings him the most satisfaction on a daily basis. Moses’ sense of humor and quick wit have allowed him to build strong connections with patients in every community he has worked. An avid outdoorsman, Moses enjoys golfing, hiking and camping in his free time.
Dana Fagerlie

Growing up in a large family on a dairy farm in northern Minnesota, I quickly learned the worth of hard work, strong family values, and caring for everyone and everything. I treat my patients with the same care and concern as I would a member of my own family. I believe in being a partner in the care of my patients and their families, and to give each and every one of them the exceptional care and attention they deserve.

Jon is a WI and MN Licensed Hearing Care Provider who has been in the industry for 36 years. His favorite part of the job is seeing how hearing help and hearing aids change patients' lives for the better! During his free time he enjoys snowmobiling, being on the water and spending as much time as he can with his kids and Grandson.
Lisa Royer
Operations Manager
Lisa is the Operations Manager behind Bold North Beltone. Her goal is to create efficient and streamlined processes so our team can spend their time providing quality care for our patients. With years of operation expertise in the hearing care industry Lisa is committed to the team to provide training along with efficient and collaborative assistance. Lisa enjoys hiking and travelling with her son, daughter, and grandson.
